The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, documenting, and reporting compliance with contract documents according to the project-specific QA/QC Plan.</p><p><b>Reports to:</b> Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, or Project Executive</p><p><b>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop a comprehensive understanding of contract documents, including contract terms, plans, specifications, and applicable codes.</li><li>Create and execute a tailored QA/QC Plan outlining scopes of work and procedures.</li><li>Establish engineering procedures for document control, submissions management, RFIs, material samples, and tracking changes and approvals while adhering to budgetary guidelines.</li><li>Coordinate the QA/QC Plan with the project safety plan to ensure compliance and safety.</li><li>Maintain ethical standards and compliance throughout all project phases.</li><li>Build and sustain relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project compliance.</li><li>Understand the project execution plan and align Quality Control procedures with the project schedule.</li><li>Enhance documentation strategies and tools to improve compliance tracking.</li><li>Engage all project staff, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants in implementing the QA/QC Plan.</li><li>Conduct testing and inspections; arrange for third-party evaluations and report results.</li><li>Continuously refine the QA/QC Plan as the project evolves, enhancing procedures as necessary.</li><li>Oversee Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) and punch list development.</li><li>Direct the corrective actions for non-compliant materials/workmanship and document compliance before subsequent work commences.</li><li>Explore and integrate additional Quality Control and Lean procedures to improve project delivery.</li><li>Supervise project close-out and the generation of quality reports.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b> Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years' experience (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience) in construction, bridging both field and engineering aspects. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods, along with strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are also required.</p><p><b>Physical Demands:</b> The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
