The Marketing and Event Coordinator will be a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive member of the Marketing and Communications team. This role is ideal for a marketing and events professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing event coordination, project management, and creative execution.

The position will play a key role in supporting marketing initiatives across multiple channels, with a strong emphasis on coordinating several elements of events, managing projects and timelines, and day-to-day marketing tasks. The ideal candidate is both creative and operationally minded, capable of managing accountability, collaborating across teams, and ensuring high-quality execution of specific and on-going projects. This collaborative role will entail working on promotional events, internal meetings, content libraries, some web site coordination, special projects and more.

About the company: Paradies Lagardère is an award-winning airport concessionaire operating more than 720 national, local, and proprietary retail stores and restaurants in 92 airports across North America. It’s headquartered in the Vining, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. This position will work out of the Atlanta office.

Duties And Responsibilities Event Coordination:

  • Contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of events such as airport retail and restaurant grand openings, community activations, larger-scale company presentations, and elements of the company’s participation in the more than 10 main industry conferences
  • Manage event logistics such as vendor coordination, timelines, materials, and on-site execution
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless delivery/shipment of props, signage, product, marketing materials and other required items.
  • Track event budgets and assist in post-event reporting and analysis
  • Complete other administrative tasks as needed
Marketing Project Coordination
  • Assist in scheduling and managing the execution of videography and photography shoots of airport restaurants and retail stores and/or specialized photoshoots (e.g., our team members, community events, philanthropic activities, etc.), including vendor recruitment and hiring, brand and airport communication, and shot list development
  • Contribute to maintaining and organizing the company’s photo and video content library for easy access and brand consistency
  • Coordinate the communication and execution of the shipment process for the company’s annual corporate holiday gift project (Qty 3,000+), including coordination with retail merchandising, executive teams, contact list managers, and warehouse representatives
General Marketing Support Activities
  • Assist in department budget tracking and reporting and invoice processing
  • Assist with general marketing calendars, project trackers and status documentation
  • Serve as a liaison between the marketing group and internal and external teams and partners
  • Assist with light graphic design projects, including image and content research and gathering
  • Some travel required (10% to 20% depending on activities, conference schedules, etc.)
Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience with managing aspects of small- to large-scale marketing events.
  • Adobe Creative/Canva skills a plus
  • Computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
