Position Overview:

  • Location: Prince George, Maryland
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary)
  • Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35.00
  • Start Date: Fall 2026
  • Type: In-person, part time and full time openings

Responsibilities:

  • LPN manages the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
  • LPN monitors and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
  • LPN provides first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
  • LPN develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
  • LPN maintains accurate and confidential health records
  • LPN communicates with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
  • LPN has ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
  • LPN potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Qualifications:

  • MD state LPN license
  • 2 years of LPN work experience REQUIRED
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Current negative TB result
