We’re looking for a curious, driven, and collaborative entry-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. You’ll work on impactful projects, learn from experienced professionals, and help shape the future of automation across our global organization.

What You’ll Do

As an IT Software Engineer I, you’ll:

  • Design, develop, test, and debug software applications that meet World Kinect’s standards and business needs.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to build robust testing frameworks and automation strategies.
  • Support application maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and functional acceptance testing.
  • Partner with Product Owners to scope solutions and provide accurate time and cost estimates.
  • Analyze performance, usability, reliability, and security requirements.
  • Solve complex development challenges and optimize system performance.
  • Translate business needs into actionable User Stories for development teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to peers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
What You Bring
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects count!)
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform (required); familiarity with tools like n8n, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Open Bots is a plus.
  • Understanding of automation technologies: RPA, AI, ML, NLP, APIs, Low Code/No Code.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as VB, .NET, C#.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher (verbal and written).
