Oversee the daily operations of the frozen food department, ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are carried out efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability of the frozen food department. Ensure that all products in the department are of high quality and meet company standards. Train and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support as needed. Create and maintain employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of labor resources. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely restocking of products. Maintain a clean and organized department, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to employees to ensure optimal performance. Stay updated on industry trends and developments in frozen food products, and make recommendations for improvements or changes to the department. Adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure that all employees do the same. Handle and resolve any employee conflicts or issues that may arise in a professional and fair manner. Monitor and analyze departmental sales and financial data, and make necessary adjustments to meet or exceed set targets.
