<p>Ascella Technologies is seeking a skilled <strong>Business Analyst</strong> to support a federal client with system planning, analysis, and the ongoing evaluation of critical financial data processes. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial systems and data across business units.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li><strong>System Integrity & Evolution:</strong> Lead the analytical work required to design, adapt, and test financial systems, ensuring they evolve alongside complex federal policy changes.</li><li><strong>Data Governance: </strong>Manage system descriptions and data elements to maintain a "single source of truth" across the organization.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Alignment:</strong> Translate intricate business needs into technical requirements, building consensus between accountants, budget analysts, and IT teams to ensure seamless system upgrades.</li><li><strong>Operational Excellence:</strong> Author the SOPs and training materials that empower users and ensure the agency remains "audit-ready" through robust documentation and governance.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications:</h2><ul><li style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;"><em><strong>U.S. Citizenship (dual citizens not eligible)</strong></em></li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university</li><li>5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system design within a financial or enterprise environment.
