About the position We are a fast-growing company looking for a smart self-starter in a full-time role working amongst a team environment in the Assistance Animal department. This position involves analyzing ESA (emotional support animal) letters against matching requestor profiles (persons seeking accommodation for their assistance animals) and team spreadsheets and contacting provider offices to request verification of authenticity. Qualified candidate will need to make reasonable decisions in a fast-moving environment, have excellent proofreading, research and customer support skills and be comfortable utilizing basic to intermediate tech and database entry skills. This is a hybrid role that requires some days in office and some days remote. Applicants should be local to the Mooresville, NC or Lake Norman area or willing to relocate. Responsibilities • Promptly call, fax, sequence or direct email a provider’s office and verify those ESA requests for authenticity. • Research provider’s, their locations, look for new contact information, return profiles for patient identifiers, outdated letters or any other letter/documentation issues that arise. • Processing fraudulent letters for written statements once confirmed fraudulent by the provider and forwarding to management/legal department for non-recommendation status. • Works with a team of other Verifiers and reports to the Verifier Team Manager Works in tandem with the AA Review team.
