About the Role

We are hiring Remote Virtual Customer Care Professionals to support card members with account inquiries, billing questions, travel benefit assistance, and dispute resolution — all from the comfort of your home.

What You Will Do

  • Handle inbound calls and digital contacts from Amex card members regarding account balances, statements, and billing inquiries
  • Resolve card disputes, unauthorized charge investigations, and account security events with thoroughness and sensitivity
  • Assist card members with Membership Rewards point redemption, travel booking benefits, and hotel and airline transfer partners
  • Educate card members on their card's features, benefits, and protections to maximize the value of their Amex relationship
  • Proactively identify opportunities to offer relevant Amex products and supplementary card member services
  • Document every card member interaction accurately in Amex CRM systems and escalate complex cases to specialized teams

Requirements

  • High school diploma — bachelor degree or some college coursework in business or finance is preferred
  • Two or more years of premium customer service or financial services experience strongly preferred
  • Polished, confident, and professional communication style that reflects the Amex brand positioning
  • Ability to handle complex, sensitive financial issues with composure, discretion, and accuracy
  • Home PC, USB headset, and 50+ Mbps wired internet — Amex requires a secure, stable connection for financial data
  • Private, dedicated home workspace that meets Amex remote work and data security standards

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour — reviewed after six months for merit-based increase
